Obituary
James (Jim) Pizzey, beloved husband of the late Margaret Pizzey of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away at St. Michael’s Health Center on August 8, 2023, at the age of 86 years.
He is survived by his children Jackie Sheridan of Lethbridge, Alberta, and Derek (Grace) Pizzey of Seattle, Washington. As well as five grandchildren.
Jim was predeceased by his brother Douglas Pizzey and his sister Gail Helgason.
Jim was born in Daysland, Alberta on March 28, 1937. He attended Bawlf High School before getting married to Margaret Dzuris on December 31, 1961. Jim was blessed with two children: Jackie and Derek; and five grandchildren: Elissa, Brett, Faith, Nicholas, and Luke.
Jim loved Jesus, his family, and his many friends. He loved watching his children and grandchildren compete in various sports; hockey, soccer, golf, baseball, and softball. He was their biggest fan.
Jim’s kind heart and compassion will live on in his children and grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 19th, at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, 703 – 13 Street North, Lethbridge, Alberta, T1H 2T2 at 1:00 PM.
