James (Jim) LeMoine
September 2nd, 1932 – September 14th, 2023
It is with profound sadness that the family of James (Jim) LeMoine of Alliston, Ontario announce his sudden passing at Southlake Regional Health Centre on September 14th, 2023 at the age of 91 years.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, sisters and by his beloved wife of 61 years, Margaret LeMoine (Matthews). He leaves to mourn a large circle of family and friends including his sister-in-law Lorna Tucker, children Alan (Gail), Brenda (Jean-Marc), Carey and grandchildren Brianne (Jeff), Victoria (Trevor), Nicolas (Anna), James (Rhea) and Drew; Great Grandchildren Emily, Jeffrey, Sophie, Ryan and Kayden.
Jim was a devoted husband, a loving and supportive father and caring Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He was an active community member, former President of the Richmond Hill Lion’s Club, a vital congregant in the Anglican Church, an avid gardener and golfer who will be truly missed.
While we are all mourning his passing, please join us to celebrate Jim’s life during visitation at Drury Funeral Centre, 519 Victoria Street East, Alliston, Ontario L9R 1K1 on October 14th, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 PM followed by a light lunch and fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Ontario or a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Bradford Valley Care Community for keeping Jim engaged and comfortable during his residency there.
