Ivy’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Ivy Annie (Penney) Warren of Westport, Newfoundland announces the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and sister on January 2, 2023 at the accomplished age of 74 years. Ivy passed at the Baie Verte Hospital.
Ivy is lovingly survived by her lifelong friend and husband George Warren of 57 years; children, Amy (Davis), Cold Lake, AB, Jenny (Scott), Ardmore AB, Tracy (Steve), Airdrie, AB, Harvey, Bonnyville, AB, Bennett (Kristie), Gander, NL, Georgina (Edward), St. John’s, NL, John (Fatima), Sunshine Coast, BC, Martha (Allan), Brighton, ON, Warrick (Marg), Westport, NL; grandchildren, Amy, Vicki, Abigail, Montie, Shyanne, Leroy, Isaiah, Malachi, Dakota, Jessica, Alex, Nikita, Gorgina; great-grandchildren, Lexi and Mayza; Ivy will be dearly missed by her siblings, Jean Poole, Lydia Strugnell (Robert), Nita Baker (Lloyd), Lloyd Penney, Wilfred Penney (Marlene), Miriam Spearing (Melvin), Oliver Penney (Leah), John Penney (Denise), Ada Powell (Sandy), Clayton Penney (Gaye) and brother in-law Nigel Earle (Joyce).
Ivy is predeceased by her parents, Roy and Hazel Penney, Port Hope Simpson, Labrador; brother, Martin Penney; sister, Peggy Earle and daughter-in-law, Debbie Beaudoin.
In keeping with Ivy’s wishes, cremation will take place.
A celebration of Ivy’s life will take place at a later date in Westport, NL.
