Passed away on December 31, 2022 at Sunnyside Home at the age of 82.
She has been the beloved wife of Dieter for 64 years and the loving mother of Michael, Andre and Benjamin and mother-in-law to Audrey and Brenda. Irene is also the Oma of Gabrielle, Raphaelle, Daniel, Clarissa and Isabelle and the great grandmother of Michael and Jonathan.
Irene left Germany and came to Canada when she was 16, fell in love with and married Dieter, dedicated herself to the needs of her family and made their house a home.
The funeral will be held at Henry Walser Funeral Home (507 Frederick St., Kitchener) on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. Interment at Parkview Cemetery.
