Moncton, NB. – Steven Brian Melanson, 60, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Saturday, January 14th, 2023 with his two daughters by his side and the TV remote still in his pocket.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Edward and the late Joyce Noel (Mazerolle).
Steven will be sadly missed by his two daughters: Crystal and Melissa Gallant both of Moncton, and their mother, Cathy; his brother, Leo Noel of Moncton; his four grandchildren: Madison, Mason, Colby, and Leah; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Edward Melanson, who he missed dearly.
Steve was known to have a fighting spirit and he was always prepared for any challenging situation or difficulties he was faced with even when the odds were against him.
We would like to give a special thanks to the staff at the Moncton Hospital, Dr. Pierre O’Brien and Dr. Corey Long, you truly are a blessing. Additionally, we would also like to thank all family and friends who brought joy into his life through the best and the difficult times.
As per Steven’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
