It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph William Leblanc, 83, on Friday, September 22nd, 2023, at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent.
Born in Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, he was the son of the late William and the late Régina Leblanc (Bastarache).
Joseph will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Irma; his son, Bruno Leblanc (Janine Mazerolle) of Saint-Joseph; his daughters: Anne Bastarache Bourque of Moncton, and Sylvette Leblanc (Robert Duguay) of Saint-Joseph; his grandchildren: Matthieu, Jessica, Zachary, and Malek; his sisters: Sr. Geraldine Leblanc, and Marie (late Aurèle) Allain both of Moncton; his dog, Sandy; his cat, Sweet Pea; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by four sisters: Geneviève, Ida, Délia, and Laudia; and three brothers: Noël, Léo, and Ovila.
Joseph was known for being a hard worker, and loved to watch the Montreal Canadians hockey games. He especially loved watching his grandchildren’s hockey games.
Visitations will be held at Passage (3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge) on Tuesday, September 26th, 2023 from 6:30pm until 8:30pm. A small memorial service will be held during this time.
