Obituary of Hilda Louise Meisner
Hilda Louise Meisner (nee Wamback) – age 93, formerly of Petite Riviere N.S., passed away February 26, 2023, in Hillside Pines Home For Special Care, Bridgewater. Born on June 22, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Starratt and Beatrice (nee Beck) Wamback. She was pre deceased by her husband, Leander D. Meisner; son, Carleton Meisner; daughter, Patricia Ernst; granddaughter, Bonnie Meisner; great grandsons, Dylan Robar and Brandon Meisner. Hilda is survived by her son, Douglas (Marilyn) Meisner, Petite Riviere; Max (Vicki) Meisner, Petite Riviere; daughter-in-law, Betty Meisner, Mount Pleasant; son-in-law, Richard Ernst, Bridgewater; grandchildren, Greg (Jennifer) Meisner, Earl Meisner, Michael (Angie) Meisner, Sherry Drew, Joseph Woodsworth, Josh Ernst, Lori (Craig) Naugler, Ashlyn Meisner; great-grandchildren, Tristen, Dylan, Keegan, Brady, Isabelle, Jayse, Rylan, Wyatt, Julian, and Aliannah; and also a very special person to Hilda, Jamie Drew. Hilda Enjoyed the Wesley United Church, and was a long time member of the ladies auxiliary, Petite Riviere Fire Department. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Sunday, April 16th in the United Church Cemetery, Petite Rivere. The family wishes to send a special thank-you to all the staff of Hillside Pines. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater.
