Harry “Harvey” Engley
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Harvey surrounded with his family at his side, on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of Sandra Engley, loving father of Kelly (Claude) Ward, Jamie (Janice) and Angela (Leo). Cherished papa to Denis, Jordan, Alex, Simara, Emma-Grace, Taylor, Travis, Cassidy and Sammantha. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren Jaxton, Junior, Amora, Taleah, Kylah, Disney, Zayden, Jayce and Allijah. Dear brother of Edward (Joanne), Rosemary (Ron), and Becky (Rene). Brother-in-law of Donna, Helen (Jim), Eddy (Nicky), Ziggy (Bonnie), Mary-Ann (Paul). He will be deeply missed by his dear mother Grace “Dolly” Thiffault. Predeceased by his father Joe Thiffault, his sister Joanne St-Amour and his parent’s in-law Martha and Walter Gasior.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the amazing staff of Medical B at the Timmins District Hospital.
Harvey was an exceptional husband, father, son, brother and papa. He was definitely one of a kind with a heart the size of the moon. He will be missed by all. Until we meet again.
Remembrance donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
