At Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, on Saturday April 8th, 2023, Mrs. Grace Lundy of Chatham passed away in her 98th year. Cherished daughter of the late William and Jean Stokes. Beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” (2001). Loving mother of Jim and his wife Jane of Dresden. Proud grandmother of Carrie (Kelly), Sarah (Joe), and Dan (Jackie) and great grandmother of Jimmy, Max, and Sydney. Predeceased by her siblings Ruth Wood, Lyla Richardson, Ross Stokes, Grant Stokes, June Civalier, Irene Vannieuwenhuyze. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington St. West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 Monday April 10th, 2023, with visiting from 10:30 am to 12:45 pm with the funeral service to follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 pm with Rev. Jim Kettle officiating. A private family interment will take place at Maple Leaf Cemetery. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent, and Grace Christian Church.
