Obituary of Gordon Stewart Keddy
KEDDY, Gordon Stewart- Age 83 of Whites Lake, passed away on May 8, 2023 at home. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Murdock and Marion (Napier) Keddy. Gordon worked for Sears Canada for over 35 years.
He esspecially enjoyed having a coffee and sharing stories with his friends who gathered at the Halifax Shopping Centre. He loved his home, gardening, daily walks, fishing and had a great passion for car shopping.
Gordon is survived by sister-in-law, Sophie; nephew, David; grandniece, Jillian. He was predeceased by brothers, Ronald and Robert.
Cremation and arragements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. In keeping with Gordon’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside burial will take place May 21, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Timmothy’s Cemetery on Prospect Bay Road.
