It is with profound sadness that the family of Gordon Bruce Thorne announces his unexpected passing on December 30, 2022 at the age of 72 years.
Leaving to mourn are his beloved wife, Phyllis, their daughter Natasha, son-in-law Harry and 2 treasured grandsons Rylan and Gage. Predeceased by father Edmund Thorne, stepmother Ruby Thorne and brothers John and Charles Thorne as well as niece Melissa Thorne. Leaving behind his mother Minnie Thorne, brothers Robert (Roberta), David (Doreen), Wilfred (Vicki), his sisters Elizabeth Briant (Brad), and Rosemary (Osvaldo Croci), as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Funeral will take place on Saturday, January 7th, 2023 at Faith United Church, Thornlea at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Faith United Church, Thornlea.
