GREER, Glenn Michael
Suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 Glenn passed away from post surgery complications at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of Jocelyn Greer (nee Mead) for 36 years. Loving father of Kathleen Greer, Sharon Greer-Gobiel (Rheal), Nikki (Jesse) Popper, Nadine Greer (Jack Crawford). Dear Papa to Brody Greer, Nicholas Ferguson, Bryanna Greer, Rylan Gobeil, Hailee Popper and Preslie Popper. Great Papa to Abby, and Mya. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Dan (Maryann) Greer, Deborah (Gary) Duschl, the late Arlene Baker, Charmaine Greer, Texas (the late Susan) Greer, Joannie (Grady) Johnson, the late Lynnie (Jim) Fuhr, and Nancy Lynn Mead. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Aline (Robert) Henderson, Harvey Greer and in-laws Dick (Nancy) Mead.
Glenn was first and foremost a devoted and loving man of his family, and was passionate about the many memories he had up north. Glenn was a manager of heavy equipment sales in the construction industry, where he worked for many years before retirement. He will be loved and missed by all.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 7-9 p.m. at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St.N., Waterdown where a Celebration of Life reception will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 12-2 p.m. Private family Interment Service will be held at Woodland Cemetery.
