It is with great sadness the family of the late Gladys Mary Blanchard of Pollard’s Point announce her passing on Tuesday, June 13th, 2023 at the Western Long Term Care, Corner Brook in her 103rd year. Leaving to mourn with a life time of memories are her children; Lovetta, Robert, Naomi, Freeman (Eileen), Hayward (Juanita), Joan (John), Bernard (Carol), Gerald (Kay), Roy; sister, Beulah; 35 Grandchildren; 60 Great grandchildren; 43 Great-great grandchildren and a large number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Gladys was predeceased by her husband, Andrew; son, Malcolm; mother, Dulcie Langford; foster parents, Abraham and Harriet Mary Pittman; sons-in-law, Dalton and Job; daughters-in-law, Ann, Linda, Jane and Janice; sisters, Dulcie, Ethel, Maude and Nonie; and brother, Joe.
The visitation will take place on Thursday, June 15th,2023 at the Anglican Church in Pollard’s Point from the hours of 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Also where the funeral service will be held Friday, June 16th,2023 at 2 pm with Rev. Charlene Laing officiating, interment will follow at the family plot.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main St., Deer Lake.
