Passed away peacefully at home with his family on Sunday July 23, 2023 in his 89th year.
Beloved husband of 65 years to Gerdy Nyenhuis. Loving father of Edith (John) Verbruggen, Judy (Garnett) Wiley, Gary (Sheila) Nyenhuis and George (Terry) Nyenhuis. Loved pake of 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Gerry will be fondly remembered by the Nyenhuis and Hollema families.
Visitation will be held at Drury Funeral Centre 519 Victoria St.E., Alliston on Thursday July 27 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Alliston Christian Reformed Church 28 Downey Ave., on Friday July 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Private family interment at Alliston Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Program (RVH Fdn.) or St. Elizabeth Fdn. would be appreciated.
