The passing of Gerald Joseph Gaudet of Noonan, NB, husband of Beulah “Elaine” (McGrath) Gaudet occurred on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Fredericton, NB. Born on March 3, 1949 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and Leona (Dugay) Gaudet. Gerald worked as a Pipe Layer for Charmac Construction. He had a passion for fishing.
In addition to his wife, Gerald is survived by sons, Gerald Gaudet (Gina Crawford) of Hardwood Ridge, NB and Neil Gaudet (Robin) of Noonan, NB; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Elliott (Leo) of Fredericton, NB; brother in law, Eldon Curtis; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Mary Curtis.
The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 603 Union Street, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 11 am with Father Maria Arokiam Chinnappan as celebrant. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, New Brunswick Lung Association or the charity of the donor’s choice.
