It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Geraldine Mary Purchase, surrounded by her loving family at the A.M. Guy Memorial Health Centre in Buchans on July 22, 2023 at the age of 87.
She is predeceased by her husband Clayton, son David and siblings Jerome, George, Earle, Herb and Norma.
Left to celebrate her life with cherished memories her children; Brian (Linda), Bonnie, Denise (Michael), grandchildren Dean (Cara), Josh, Tanya (Mike), Melissa, Mikaela (Lyndon), Stephanie (Brandon), and grand daughter in law Ember, and her great grand children Caden, Carter, Molly, Stella, Jeff, Beckett and Greyson. As well as a large circle of relatives and friends.
She was a pillar of our community, the heart of our family and had the most special friends she meant the world to.
I Wish I could see you one more time
come walking through the door
But I know that is impossible
I will hear your voice no more.
I know you can feel my tears
and you don’t want me to cry
Yet my heart is broken
because I can’t understand
why someone so precious had to die.
I pray that God will give me strength
and somehow get me through
As I struggle with this heartache
That came when I lost you
