The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Saturday March 25th, 2023 at the age of 62 years. Son of Éloi and of the late Madeleine (née Pilon) Rochon. Beloved spouse of Carmen Giguère. Dear father of Stéphanie Rochon and Jessica Rochon (Austin). Dear brother of Roland (Marites), Viviane Leduc (Mario), Gilles (Johanne), Francine Rochon (Luc), Luc (Linda), Yves (Sylvie), Charles (Aline), and Josée Roy (Guylain). Gérald was an honest and kind man, always willing to give a helping hand. He was always eager to learn new things. His suffering is now over. Rest in peace dear Gérald. The family would like to thank all those who work in health care. They are true guardian angels and Gérald was always incredibly grateful for the work they do. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements in care of the Théorêt-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Frère de Roland (Marites), Viviane Leduc (Mario), Gilles (Johanne), Francine Rochon (Luc), Luc (Linda), Yves (Sylvie), Charles (Aline) et Josée Roy (Guylain). Gérald était un homme honnête, serviable et aimable. Il était toujours avide d’acquérir de nouvelles connaissances. Sa souffrance est maintenant terminée. Repose en paix cher Gérald. La famille tient à remercier tous ceux qui travaillent dans le domaine de la santé. Ce sont de vrais anges gardiens et Gérald était toujours très reconnaissant du travail qu’ils/elles font. Une célébration de vie sera annoncée à une date ultérieure. Les arrangements funéraires sont confiés au Salon Funéraire Théorêt-Bourgeois, Sturgeon Falls.
