On July 24, 2023, Mr. George Pushkarenko of Mallaig passed away at the age of 89 years. He is survived by his 3 sisters, Helen (Ken) Brady, Mary White & Sophie (Don) Pushkarenko; sister-in-law, Josephine Pushkarenko; as well as numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas & Tatianna Pushkarenko; 8 brothers, Alex, Peter, Walter, Bill, Mike, Fred, John & Ed; 5 sisters, Vera, Katie, Rose, Jenny & Anne. His family would like to thank all the staff at St. Paul Extendicare for helping to make George comfortable and attending to all his needs. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 4 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with interment in Mallaig Baptist Cemetery, Mallaig. Those wishing to view the service online may do so by clicking the Live Service tab on our website.
