The family of George Paul Moskal is heartbroken to announce his passing on January 1, 2023 following a brief battle with pneumonia.
George was born in Gronlid Sk to parents William and Elizabeth in 1948. He attended school in Silver Park and Melfort before meeting and marrying his wife Ruth in 1974. George spent his career in the oil and gas industry and construction, often working away from his family. This time away led him to cherish time at home and he spent many happy hours visiting, playing cards and sharing stories with loved ones. He was an avid collector of all things and firmly believed that one man’s junk just might be HIS treasure.
George retired in January 2015, shortly before a life changing fall in October 2015. Following his accident, George returned to live at home in the exemplary and tireless care of his loving wife.
George is survived by his wife Ruth Moskal (nee Parfitt), son Corey Moskal (Jodi, grandchildren Hannah, Logan, Ella), and daughters Tasha Moskal (Aaron Miller, grandchildren Emily and Matthew) and Carlie Moskal (Devon Schmuck) and many, many fur grandbabies.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Spinal Cord Society of Saskatchewan or Canadian Diabetes Association.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Wingate for many years of exceptional care.
