The family announces with sorrow his death in North Bay, Sunday September 17, 2023 at the age of 87 years. Son of the late Charles and of the late Leah (née Smith). Beloved husband of Leona (née DeBlock). Loving father of Daniel (Suzan) and Maurice. Sadly, missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Deidra (Jesse), Badden (Kandice), Leah (Tyler), Steven (Melissa), and his great-grandchildren Bradley, Alexis, Elizabeth, Madison, Marley, Kylee, Charlotte, Georgia, Callie and Rory. Predeceased by his granddaughter Renée. Dear brother of Pat Cadwell (Keith), Ted (Judy), and Frank (Marie). Predeceased by his sister Donna (Les) and Beverley. The family will receive family and friends at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls on Friday, September 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for visits. A celebration of life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Funeral arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the North Bay Regional Health Center Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
