It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved dad George Amin Guirguis retiree of the WHO, beloved husband of Bedour Kassabgui, father of Shadi Guirguis (and his wife Randa Tawfik) and Névine Audi (and her husband Joe Audi); loving grand father of Christine & Daniel Audi, and Christopher, Nicole & Gabriel Guirguis; brother of late Fayek Guirguis (late wife Shadia, father of Nader & Marianne), late Cecile Guirguis (wife of late Labib and mother of Faten, Hany, and Gihan), Makram Guirguis (late wife Soheir and father of Jermine and Ehab), late Michael Guirguis (wife Mary, father of Ghada & Rasha & late George) in Egypt. brother in law to late Waguih (wife Suzanne), Nabih (late wife Suzanne), Bassili (wife Marthe), Ibrahim (wife Liliane, father of Ramy &Myriam), late Nadia (late husband Nabil, mother of Bassem & Karim) , Leila Kassbgui (husband Mounir, mother of Ayman, Amir & Josale). George passed away peacefully on January 12th 2023 surrounded by his family he will be greatly missed for his good loving kind soul and beautiful smile.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM EST on Saturday, January 14 at the Church of St Athanasius Coptic Orthodox Church at 1245 Eglinton Ave W, Mississauga, ON L5V 2M4. For those who cannot attend, the service will be live streamed at www.cccnet.ca – Live Streaming – SAINT MARY.
George will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him as a kind, loving, and generous man. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in George’s memory to either of the following two organisations, or any good cause of your choice:
