Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Monday, January 2, 2023, at St. Thomas General Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Velma George. Loving father of Kimberly Williams, Timothy Williams, Steve Aquash and Starlene Aquash. Cherished grandfather of Tristan Williams, Arnold Williams, Markie Williams, Narissa Williams, Destiny Williams, Dante Williams, Kyra Williams, Jada Williams, and of Starlene’s daughter. Treasured Son of the late Albert Williams and Anna Williams (Nee George). Dear brother of Brenda Williams, Glen Williams, Terry Williams, Russell Williams, Ryan Williams, and Tina Wells. Predeceased by his siblings, Tom Williams Jimmy Williams, Florence Williams, Patrick Williams, Betty Williams. Gary will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends. A special thank you to all the staff at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital for their care and compassion for Gary during his stay.
Family and friends will be received at Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Center, 1972 Virgil Ave, Sarnia, on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Center on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at1:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Aamjiwnaang Food Bank (cheques only at the funeral home please).
