Edwards, Gail Evelyn (nee Bray) – Passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the age of 55 years. Gail, v loving and devoted mother of Ashley West (Dan Hunter) and Grandma Gail of Aubrey. Beloved daughter of Lois (nee Hartley) and the late Harold Bray.
Dear sister of Penny Welch (Jim) and deeply loved Auntie Abby of Alexx (Tyler) and Luke. Sadly missed by her four legged companion Stu and granddog Henry. Gail will be missed by her Family and Friends of Hiawatha First Nation.
Gail had many dear friends who will miss her intensely. Each one of us will profoundly grieve the loss of her compassion, thoughtfulness, and sense of humour. Family and Friends will be received on Thursday, January 19th at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd.) from 6:00 to 9:00p.m. A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Gail will be held on Friday, January 20th at 2:00 p.m. in the Highland Park Chapel. Rev. Jim Welch officiating. Please join us in celebrating Gail by wearing her favourite fashion pieces; hoop earrings and/or a pashmina (scarf). Our family is forever grateful for the care, compassion, and support from Dr Colin Matheson, Hospice staff and volunteers.
