Obituary of Frank Jones
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Francis Stewart “Frank” Jones, on Saturday, March 25, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was a son of the late Leonard and Cassie (MacLellan) Jones.
Frank owned and operated various small businesses in the Town of Westville for many years. He was a member of the Westville Fire Dept. for 15 years. He loved his Toronto Maple Leafs and enjoyed teasing any Montreal fans, especially his grand daughter Megan every chance he got. His love of the game even had him coaching in the Westville Hockey League for a few years. Frank was an avid Poker Player who loved his weekly games with friends and more recently the online games.
He is survived by his daughters, Tracey (Darren) Petipas and Shelley Jones; grandchildren, Megan and Austin; and former wife and good friend Mary “Cookie” Jones. He is also survived by his brothers John “Bub” (Donna), Allan, A.J. (Lorraine), Sandy (Tammy); sisters in law Rose and April; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; his daughter Donna Lee; brothers, Deacon, Gerard, Ralph, and sister Marie Bourque; as well as two sisters in infancy; his brother-in-law John Bourque and his nephew Brian Jones.
Frank is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Church of the Holy Name, Westville with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Name Cemetery. Donations in Frank’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
