Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of John “Frank” Arseneau, which occurred at his home on Monday, January 2nd, 2023. Born March 18th, 1946, in Saint John, he is the son of the late Lawrence and Katherine Arseneau. Frank was a meat cutter at the Saint John City Market, Sobeys and Chandler Sales until he retired in 2007. He enjoyed boating, hiking/walking and he especially loved going for bike rides on his e-bike with his best friend Gary Colwell.
Frank is survived by his loving and devoted wife Sandra (Leger-Doyle) of Grand Bay-Westfield; step-sons Trevor Doyle (Karen) of Fairfield, NB, Stephen Doyle (Angelisa) of Saint John; brothers Brian Arseneau of Cape Breton, NS, Ronald Arseneau (Dolores) of Saint John; sister Valerie Edgett (Charles) of Saint John; grandchildren Jenna, Brooke, Avery, Levi, Ashton and Clarissa; best friend Gary Colwell (Lynn); his canine companion Bella; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). As per Frank’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory of Frank may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
