Obituary of Fay Virginia Fisher
Peacefully at her home in Muncey, Ontario with her loving family by her side on Saturday March 4th, 2023. Fay Virginia Fisher (nee Floyd) in her 89th year went home to the creator.
Beloved wife of 68 years to Larry Franklin Fisher Sr.
Loving mother of Elizabeth (Jim) Waddilove, Larry Fisher Jr., Wendy (Gerald) Dunn, Fred (Bonnie) Fisher, Bill (Joanne) Fisher, Douglas (Karen) Fisher and Shane (Linda) Fisher.
Proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Survived by her sisters: Carol Parker, Norma (Ron) Floyd, Bonnie White, Kathy (Paul) Roelofsen. In-laws Dorothy Shildrick, Velma Moore, Maynard (Carol) Fisher Creatha Fisher and Rose Fisher.
Pre-deceased by her son Leslie Stephen Fisher (1962), grandchildren: Stephen Fisher (2018) and Megan Fisher (2021). Daughter of the late Alma Leona Floyd (Cornelius 1984) and Vincent Leslie Floyd (1986). Daughter-in-law of the late Frank L (1977) and Florence Fisher (2006). Brothers: Richard Floyd (1969), Robert Floyd (2009). In-laws: Delbert Fisher (1999), Julia Fisher (2011), Fred Fisher (2017) and Yvonne Conley (2018)
Fay will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
As per Fay’s request cremation has taken place and no funeral service to be held. Inurnment Middlemiss Cemetery, Chippewas of the Thames Reserve will be held at a later date.
Special mention to her caretakers: Patricia Dunn, Stephanie Snauwaert, Waylon Doxtator and Dr. Lucia Pezzutto for their care and compassion.
