Obituary of Erma Wilson

It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to a beautiful soul with a dazzling smile. Erma passed away in her sleep at the age of 91 surrounded by family.
She is survived by her husband Roy, son Keith (Yvonne), daughter Shannon, brother Glen (Alice), and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Lois (Charlie), and brothers Ken and Lloyd (Rose).
Erma grew up in Vulcan, Alberta. She received a diploma in Home Economics from Olds College in 1951. This is also where she met the love of her life, Roy. They were subsequently married in 1956. As a long supporter of Olds College, Erma received an honorary Bachelor of Applied Science degree in 2013. She was a skilled seamstress and cook and devoted to her family.
Erma will be missed. She was loved by all and her smile would light up the room.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street SE, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 11AM. Luncheon to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
