GUTHRIE, Elizabeth McKechnie ‘Betty’ (nee Low): At Peterborough Regional Health Centre with family by her side on Friday, June 30, 2023 in her 91st year.
Betty, beloved wife of the late Arthur Guthrie. Loving and devoted mother of Bill (Jean, predeceased), Linda Hynes (Tom), and Liz Guthrie. Cherished Grandmother of Brittney, Michael, Rachel, Jake, Joe, and Ron. Dear sister of Lil McGarry, Isabel McLean, and predeceased by her parents Davey and Dot Low and sisters Margaret Harvey, Helen Low, and brothers Maxwell and Robert Low.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Betty’s Memorial Service in the Chapel of Highland Park Funeral Centre on Thursday, July 6th at 11:00am. Interment Highland Park Cemetery followed by a light luncheon in the Highland Reception Centre. Betty’s family would like to thank Dr. Lem and the Nurses of PRHC and in a special way Nurse Kelsey for the care and compassion shown to Betty during her time with them.
