Elisie “Elsie” Mjelve
(September 18, 1934 – April 27, 2023)
Elsie Mjelve of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the age of 88 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Brice of Wetaskiwin, Carolyn (Daryl) Black of Stony Plain; daughter-in-law Julie Mjelve of Edmonton; seven grandchildren; and siblings Pat Davis of Whitecourt, Betty (Glen) Beanlands of Mission, BC, Mary Stanley of Chilliwack, BC, Julia (John) Olsen of Camrose, Olga Grymaloski of Calgary, and Rose (Stan) Gauthier of Victoria, BC.
Elsie was predeceased by her husband Ken; son Cameron; and sister Sophie Wilcox.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 8, 2023, at the Burgar Memorial Chapel, 4817 – 51 Avenue Camrose with Rev. Fred Schneider officiating.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Elsie’s memory may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute .
