Edna M. (nee Botterill) Bushey, a resident of Chatham-Kent, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19th at the age of 93. Edna was born in Chatham on May 26th 1930, predeceased by her husband Hector (1974). She is survived by her children Phil “Butch”, Nancy, David, the late Rick (1999), and Ted. Survived by her grandchildren Shawn, Genvieve, Aaron, Dean, Rene, Terra and also her great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings Stan, Margie, Louise, and Bob. Also survived by brother-in-law Andy. She will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Edna was retired from St. Joseph’s Hospital where she worked for several years. She was also President of the Women’s Auxiliary and volunteered for many years. Cremation has taken place and respecting her son’s wishes, Edna will be remembered privately.
