Essert, Dustin James, July 14th 1987-December 16th 2022 — Dusty tragically passed away on December 16th, 2022 in Abbotsford B.C in his 36th year. Loving father of Marissa, Natalya & Olanna Essert. He will be greatly missed by his partner Krystle Leger and her daughter Quinn. Dusty was the beloved son of Tracy and Scott Macklin, (Mark Adams), much loved Brother of Cole and Skyler Macklin. Cherished Grandson of Marlene Bowman (Earl) late Jim and Linda Clare. Great grandson of Eileen Adams (Ken, predeceased) and the late Bernard & Mary Lessard. Loving nephew of Christina Essert (Andrew), Grant Clare (Dawn), and uncle of Abigail & McCoy Macklin, and Cohen Essert. Dusty will be fondly remembered by the Lessard, Clare, Essert, Macklin, Adams, and Harper families also by great aunts, uncles and cousins. Dusty was a kind gentle soul who could light up a room with his smile, his easy going personality made people gravitate towards him and he had many lifelong friends. Dusty loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and hunting were among his favorite things to do. His biggest accomplishment was when he became a dad, Dusty was an amazing father. He loved them with all his heart, and you could hear the pride in his voice whenever he talked about them. The world truly lost a great man, and he will be forever missed. Family and friends may gather at the Roseneath Civic Centre,9059 County Road 45, on January 7, 2023 from 1:00 pm – 2:30pm. A celebration of life will follow at 2:30pm, Reverend Jamie York officiating with a reception to follow. If desired, a trust will be set up for his three daughters, details to follow.
