Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital, Dr. John Smart passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of CarolAnne (nee Young). Loving father of Michael and Sandie Smart, and David and Ginny Smart. Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Meghan, Mitchell and Ashley. He will also be missed by many close friends.
Dr. Smart practiced medicine in Waterdown for many years, and will be remembered for his caring manner and guidance.
A Memorial Service will be planned for a future date to be announced.
