Passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at his home at the age of 69.
Beloved husband of Carol (nee Pearce) for 33 years. Loving father of Joshua Watson (Regan), Lorilea Henderson (Peter) and Jason Henderson. Cherished Papa of 7 grandchildren. Dear brother of Dale Wagner (Tim) and Debbie Langlois (Ivan). Will be greatly missed by his nephew Troy (Jen), nieces Crystal (Sean) and Ashley (Nick), and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews and one predeceased nephew.
Predeceased by his parents Douglas and Esther.
Doug worked as the lead accountant and Controller at Dubrick Property Management for over 25 years. He was a firm believer of living in the moment. Doug enjoyed spending time at his trailer and travelling the world with Carol. He was always planning his next adventure.
Doug’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 . Visitation will continue from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023, with a service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Parkview Cemetery.
