Dorothy Summerfield lived an abundant life, passing away on June 15, 2023, at the age of 103. Her loving husband, Alfred, had also gone before her. She leaves behind her children, Gerald (Linda), Gregory, Denise Beneteau (Dale), Richard (Brenda), and sadly, the late Beverly Francottie (Lewis).
Dorothy was the loving grandmother of Brett, Dana, Lesley, Thomas, Ryan, Brittany, and Lisa. Great grandmother of 10 great-grandchildren. Dorothy will be remembered for her kind heart and the way she always made others feel loved. Her legacy will live on in the memories of those whose lives she touched. Rest in peace.
Dorothy’s funeral mass will be celebrated at the Holy Name of Jesus Church in Es on Monday at 12 noon with visitation beginning at the church at 11 am. After the service, she will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s cemetery in Maidstone. Donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
