Passed into the presence of Jesus her Lord at the Central Newfoundland Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor March 2, 2023, Dorothy May (Roach) Hoyles, formerly of Cupids, born November 10, 1927. Predeceased by her husband Pastor Paul Hoyles, parents Captain Joseph and Elizabeth (Marshall) Roach, sisters Clarice (Hayward) Bradbury, Barbara (Eric) Clarke, Doris and Jean (Harvey) Thompson; brothers Lewis (Lillian) Roach, Donald (Emmie) Roach and Israel (Mary) Roach; Parents-in-law George and Mary (Butler) Hoyles, sisters-in-law Olga (Donald) Dawe,Clemmie Hoyles, Christine Goodfellow, brothers-in law George (Mary) Hoyles, Charles Hoyles and William Hoyles, sons-in-law Vincent Kane, Robert Hann and great-grandson Dominic Andrews. Left to mourn are her daughter Paulette, son David (Donna) Hoyles, seven grandchildren Aislinn (Darren) Andrews, Shauna (Jason) Greene, Jonathan (Ella) Hoyles, Daniel (Ashley) Hoyles, Jacob Hoyles, Sarah (Brandon) White, and Benjamin Hoyles; 12 great-grandchildren and brother-in-law Henry Goodfellow.
Funeral arrangements with Moores Funeral Home, Clarke’s Beach. Visitation Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Clarke’s Beach Pentecostal Assembly. Funeral service, Monday, March 6, 2:00 p.m. at Clarke’s Beach Pentecostal Assembly with Pastor Moral Bess officiating. Interment to follow at Clarke’s Beach Pentecostal Cemetery.
