Obituary
Passed peacefully away at her home in Buchans, NL, after fighting a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 66. She was born in Badger to Betty and Percy Penney in 1956. She spent 36 years working as an LPN at A.M. Guy Memorial Health Centre in Buchans.
She is predeceased by her father Percy Penney, mother and father-in-law Edgar and Sadie Piercey, and nephew Jimmy Legge.
Leaving to mourn husband Barry Piercey of 47 years, son Steven (Maria) Piercey, daughter Jo-ann (Stephen) Stone, brothers George (Janet) Penney, Robert (Pam) Penney, sisters Debbie (Ron) Hart, Beverley (Joe) Kelly, grandchildren Alyssa (Jordan), Mila, and George. Also leaving to mourn her mother Betty Penney, along with a large circle of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Buchans United Church.
