Suddenly at her home in Sunridge on Sunday January 8, 2023. Donna, beloved wife of Andy and dear mother of Jade Baxter, A.J. and Max Durand.
Loving daughter of Daphne (nee Warner) and the late George Gooch and daughter-in-law of Ruth Durand (Melvin).
Sister of Mike Gooch (Melissa) and Georgie Gooch and aunt of Samantha.
Donna was loved by Uncle Gord Durand and many others; she was a proud Ice Devil’s Hockey mom, a talented and amazing cook known for her fabulous food. Her laughter was loud, boisterous, and infectious; her heart of gold and smile always filled the room.
The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Tuesday January 17, 2023, from 6 to 8 pm. Please bring a memory to share,
A service to celebrate Donna’s life will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1pm on Wednesday January 18, 2023, with Rev. David Woodall officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to assist the family would be sincerely appreciated.
