Firth, Donald James – It is with profound sadness that the family of Donald Firth announce his peaceful passing on Saturday, May 27, 2023 in his 89 year. Beloved husband of the late Loretta Mae Firth (2018). Loving father of James, Linda (Mike Addario) and Patricia Firth. Cherished grandfather of Donavan, Dylan and the late Felicia Christian (2018) and great grandfather of Hailey, Mackenzie and Cassandra. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Mabel Firth and brother Kenneth Firth. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family Dave and Rose Kuzmich, and Rachel Kuzmich, Cliff Coulter and Felix Coulter; Sylvia, Tim and Quinn Addario; Sandra and Hendrick Byker and Rick and Marie Addario. Donald had worked at the Cotton Mill, CKTB Radio and Atlas Steels. Special thanks to the ECU of Welland Hospital for their outstanding care, Debbie Currie for her love and care and Rev. Marcie Wakem for her visits and spiritual care. The family will receive their friends at the H.L.Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Marcie Wakem conducting his funeral service in the Cudney Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
