September 12, 1939 – August 18, 2023
In loving memory of Donald Fenton Barrett who passed away August 18, 2023 at the age of 83.
Wife Mary Lou Barrett (Holmes), daughter Andrea Martin, son Grant Martin (Tami), son Tim Martin (Stephanie) and granddaughters Mikayla and Avery. Predeceased by son Andrew (1965).
Sister Irene Walback (Ralph). Predeceased by brothers Larry, Joe, Graham, Jack, Roy & Jim.
Sister-in laws Gail Young (Shawn), Dianne Fox, Carol Overbaugh, Anne Holmes and brother-in law Dan Holmes. Predeceased by brother-in laws Dave Fox, Gord Overbaugh and Brian Holmes.
Don will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Don loved spending time with family and friends. He loved the outdoors, hunting with his dog Allie and fishing. Don was indeed a character with a quick mind, sense of humour, intelligence and wisdom. One thing Don always said was “if I knew I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself”
Don was loved by so many; he will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him.
Don was a true legend.
