Obituary
Ische, Don, passed away peacefully at the Southampton Hospital on Monday March 6, 2023 at the age of 89. Beloved husband and best friend to Marlene Ische (nee Eagles) for 65 + years. Dear brother to Wayne (Sharon) Ische, Joyce (Murray) Cook, Janet Manser, brother-in-law to Audrey Ische, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Don will also be sadly missed by Marlene’s family, Wayne Eagles, Leone Stewart, Alice Eagles and all of their families.
Predeceased by his parents Harvey & Pearl, and by his siblings, Russel Ische, Orval and Marjorie Ische, and Helen and Bruce Winteringham.
Don enjoyed over 30 years working in the financial world, he loved anything to do with numbers. For the last 30 years Don and Marlene could not have chosen a better place than Southampton to enjoy retirement.
A special thank you to Dr. Michael Marriott and support staff for the care given to Don over the years.
A Memorial Service for Don will be held at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Monday March 13, 2023 at 11 a.m. Interment of ashes at the Southampton Cemetery in the Spring.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the Southampton United Church.
