Denise Markland (nee Blache), age 82, entered into rest on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the Belleville General Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Oscar & Marguerite Blache (nee Lapierre) and loving wife of the late Harold. Denise was the loving mother of Charlene Toppings (Jack B) of Carrying Place and Brenda Mabee (Trevor) of Picton. She was the dearest grandmother of Logan (Elaine), Justin (Hannah) and Jacob.
Mrs. Markland is resting at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, (613-476-2450). A Graveside Service and Inurnment will be held at Glenwood Cemetery, Picton on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11 am. If desired, donations to the Stroke & Rehabillitation Unit, Charlotte Sills 3 at Belleville General Hospital (www.bghf.ca/) in Denise’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
