It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Denise Ashdown, our devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great grandmother. She was deeply loved and was surrounded by her family as she passed away peacefully at her home on January 2, 2023. Denise was born in Westlock, Alberta on July 28,1934. She was predeceased by her loving husband Norm, her parents Joe and Agnes Mercier, her 9 brothers and sisters and many nieces, nephews, and her great grand-daughter Madison O’Hara. She is survived by her three daughters Janet (Lloyd) Langer, Joanne O’Hara and Lynn (Rob) Frost. She also leaves her legacy of love with her 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Denise was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she loved her large family dearly. She was also loved and admired by many who knew her. A memorial service will be held at Park Place Funeral home on Tuesday, January 10 @ 11:00AM.
A private internment for the immediate family will follow the service.
