The passing of Deborah “Debbie” Ann Steeves-Atyeo, wife of Allen Atyeo, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Debbie was born in Montreal, QC on August 16, 1963. She was the daughter of Herman and Marlene (Crouse) Steeves. Debbie worked at UPS for over 25 years. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her precious Addi.
In addition to her loving husband, Debbie is survived by her son, Matthew Clowater; daughter, Katelyn Clowater; granddaughter, Addelyn Beaulieu who was so loved and cherished by her grandmother; sisters, Pamela Lazenby (Frank) and Stephanie Cole (Andy); sisters-in-law, Debbie (Terry) and Jean; brother-in-law, Perry (Shelly); several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses in the Cardiac Units at the Fredericton and Saint John Hospitals for their care. At Debbie’s request, there will be no public services. A private interment will be held by the family at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of New.
