It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of a wonderful woman. Loving fiance to Calvin Semenyk. Predeceased by husband Ken Franklin. Cherished mother of Shelley Bechard and Greg Franklin. Proud grandmother to Emma, Olivia, and Patrick, and fur-babies Bentley and Willow. Predeceased by parents Eleanor and Cyril Breynaert. Sister to Cathy Crowell (Harry), Brian Breynaert (Elaine), and late Gwen Bond (Larry). She will be greatly missed by her many cousins, nieces and nephews, and extended family.
Debbie retired from Greenfield Global. She was an amazing, kind hearted, giving, compassionate woman who spent endless hours meeting the needs of many in our community, working with FreeHelp CK. She loved working in her gardens and spending time with everyone, especially her grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Active Lifestyle Centre, 20 Merritt Ave, Chatham, on Saturday, September 16 from 1-4 p.m. A private family interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Debbie’s memory may be made to FreeHelp CK.
