Deborah Anne Martin, age 72, of Stratford and formerly of St. Marys, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Stratford General Hospital. Born in St. Marys, daughter of the late Jerry and Judith (Whaley) Longeway. Predeceased by her loving husband Robert “Bob” G. Martin on Nov 16, 1994. Proud and loving mother of Lisa (Curtis) Monteith and their children Emma and Connor, Jim Martin (Amanda) and his children R. J. and Eden, Kate (Mike) McEwin and their daughter Kiera. Debbie will be fondly remembered by her siblings Sue (Glen) Hawkins, Tim (Janice) Longeway, Tom (Arden) Longeway, Tina Flanagan, Charli (Liz) Longeway, Jeri (Shane) Moran and her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Besides her parents and her husband Bob, Debbie was predeceased by her brother Michael Longeway, her mother and father-in-law Marjorie and Geroge Martin and her sister-in-law Kaye Harries. Family and friends are invited to Debbie’s visitation on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 1-2:30 p.m. at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford. Everyone is invited to the interment of Debbie’s casket immediately after the visitation in St. Mary’s Cemetery (St. Marys).
