Obituary of David William Norrad
It is with great sadness that the family of David William Norrad announces his passing, which occurred on February 5, 2023 at the Sus Health Centre. Born in Saint John, NB, on October 15, 1959, he was the son of Donald and the Late Verna (Robinson) Norrad.
David is survived by his father and step-mother, Donald Norrad and Ila Ewick of Wellston, OH; his children: Matilda Steeves (Kevin) of Moncton, ; Sara Dawn Norrad (Rob Schafrick) of Campbellton; his grandchildren: Torrien, Emmett, Jamison, and Araya; his sister, Donna Crothers of Sus Corner; his special nieces: Lacey Crothers (Brent Edwards) of Sus Corner, Alyson (Christopher Berdan) and Gracen of St. George, and Hannah Crothers of Saint John; his step-sisters: Gayle Meadows (Corky), Kristi Ford, and their families of Wellston, OH; his uncle, Ralph Norrad, and aunts: Judy Huggard and Murial Robinson, as well as his cousins.
Besides his mother, David was predeceased by Sylvia (Young) Norrad, the mother of his children, and his brother-in-law, Peter Crothers..
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, NB (506-433-1176). A celebration of David’s life will be held from the Royal Canadian Legion Sus Branch #20 on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 2:00pm.
