Suddenly passed on Wednesday May 10, 2023, in his 77th year. Peacefully with his family by his side, at West Parry Sound Health Centre. Eternally loved by his wife of 57 years, Shirley Jean Bailey. Will be forever missed by his children, Marion (Glen) Varty and David (Loretta) Bailey, grandchildren Michael, Katherine, Glen, Mariah, James, and Kassandra. Also, many Great-grandchildren and his nephew Andy (Sylvia) Briggs. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Survived by his brother Andy Bailey and deceased wife Isabelle and sister Lily (Scott) McIntyre. Special thanks to all Nursing staff in ICU and doctors who cared for David at West Parry Sound Health Centre. In Lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in honor of his daughter Marion Varty. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the family home on Saturday July 22, 2023 at 12 – 4 PM.
