Obituary For David George Badgerow
December 7, 1945 – March 1, 2023
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of David Badgerow on March 1, 2023, at the age of 77.
David was born and raised in Carnwood, AB, and attended school in Lindale, AB. He farmed at Carnwood for 59 years. He then moved and spent the last 18 years in Debolt. David had a passion for Cat Skinning, and driving gravel and water truck. He loved his mules (long ears). He spent many hours training and driving teams. He was always up for a good sleigh or wagon ride. In the fall Dave (Dad) would spend time hunting and always up for camping or a good fishing trip. He will be missed for his beautiful smile and big bear hugs!
David will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Winnie, his son William (Jodi), daughters Bonnie and Paulie (Darel), grandchildren Lacee and Ryder Badgerow, Riley and Ty Kern, and Brett and Bryce Klassen, mother-in-law Margaret Anderson, sisters-in-law Alice and Vicky Badgerow, brothers-in-law Dave and Dusty (Annie) Anderson, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
David was predeceased by his parents Ken and Sarah Badgerow, his brothers Cecil and Ron Badgerow, his sister Dorothy and brothers-in-law Ross Tweedle & Wayne Duckett, his Great niece Angela Williamson & nephew Tex Donald Tweedle.
The family would like to express a deep appreciation to Dr. Jacobs and all the staff at the Valleyview Hospital for the wonderful care they gave David (Dad).
A family Celebration of Life will take place at a later date this summer.
