Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving children on Thursday, June 15, 2023, Daphne Eloise Jeffers of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 95 years.
Predeceased by husband, Ellis; daughter: Judy; parents: Walter and Estelle Marsh.
Leaving to mourn, daughter; Jeannette Beresford (Ron Johnson), Iowa; two sons: David (Ingrid), St. John’s and Derek (Christie), Comox, BC; ten grandchildren: Vanessa (Derek), Michelle, Meghan, Caitlin (Chris), Erinn, Matthew, Stephen (Courtney), Lauren (Cliff), Charles, and Sam; four great-grandchildren: Brody, Gillian, Matthew, and Elliot; also a large number of other relatives, and friends.
Committal service to take place on Monday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Church Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. A reception to follow at the Freshwater Community Hall.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Freshwater United Church, Site 2, Comp 5, RR1, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1C6, or Canadian Cancer Society, 70 Ropewalk Lane, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3R9.
