Obituary of Corky Pirson
Pirson Howard “Corky”
Corky Pirson passed away unexpectedly on June 27th, 2023 at the age of 92. Reunited with his loving wife, Mildred Clara “nee Noyes” as well as parents Arthur and Ellen, brothers Donald (June), Jerry (Helen),and brother in law Calvin (Audrey) Noyes. Uncle Cork and Aunt Millie did not have children of their own but had ” honorary” children and grandchildren that they cherished, who were the lucky recipients of their loving and nurturing guidance. Their home was adorned by numerous pictures of these “honorary ” children and grandchildren as they grew up through the years. Also survived by extended family and the wonderful neighbours they were fortunate to have. His neighbors were his best friends, who looked after each other
If Corky wasn’t plying his trade as a plumber, you would find him outdoors. He was a passionate fisherman, hunter and overall lover of all things sportsman. He enjoyed golf and for many years was an active member of Stevensville Conservation Club.
Williams Funeral Services 722 Ridge Rd. North, Ridgeway, entrusted with arrangements. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place at Bertie Church Cemetery (Church Road at Point Abino Rd. Stevensville) on Saturday July 29th at 11 am followed by an opportunity for friends and family to gather and celebrate his wonderful life at the Stevensville Conservation Club, Ott Rd. Stevensville at 12 o’clock. If desired, donations to the Arthritis Society or the Stevensville Conservation Club would be appreciated by the family.
